Happy February!! Life is good. Busy and crazy, per the usual, but good. I've spent the past week battling a head cold, which has yielded lots of late nights, snuggling on the couch with ST (we watched "The Judge" with Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Junior, and "Laggies" with Keira Knightley and Chloe Grace Moretz--highly recommend them both!). Other than that,
my small group started back,
we've seen some snow (!!!)
we've celebrated friends' birthdays
I've welcomed February with my all-time favorite seasonal candy,
Maizie just got her seasonal cut (and is looking crazy adorable),
I got my car back after a few weeks of repairs--and celebrated with a car wash,
and I finally made it to the zoo to see the kangaroo exhibit. Nashville, you never cease to amaze.
...and of course, watched the thrills and spills of the Super Bowl last night. I think we can all agree that Katy Perry was the real winner.
I'm in goal-penciling-in mode now, eager to delve into one of my favorite months of the year. I can feel that Spring is coming, and I'm just itching for some sunshine. And road trips. And sandals. And grill time.
